LIVE FLAMENCO

COMMUNITY

Flamenco as a Living Art Form

At Casa Triana Flamenco, performance is central to our identity.

Through our productions and ongoing performance series, we bring together professional artists, emerging performers, students, and audiences to experience flamenco in its many forms.

From intimate gatherings and traditional tablao experiences to theatrical productions and cultural celebrations, each program offers a different way to connect with this art form.

Our work is rooted in flamenco tradition while creating opportunities for artistic growth, cultural exchange, and community connection throughout Chicago.

PEÑA FLAMENCA

A Space for Flamenco and Community

Inspired by Spain's tradition of flamenco peñas, we transform our Casa Triana studio into an intimate gathering space where artists, students, and aficionados come together to experience flamenco up close.

With no stage separating artists from the audience, everyone shares the same floor, creating a unique connection. Just a few feet away, our community can experience the energy, emotion, and intensity of flamenco, almost as if they were performing alongside us.

FLAMENCO NIGHTS

Bringing Flamenco Across Chicago

Inspired by the traditional Spanish tablao, Flamenco Nights brings professional flamenco to restaurants and intimate venues throughout Chicago, where audiences can experience the artistry of live music and dance up close.

We know not everyone can make it to our peñas or larger productions, so we want to bring flamenco closer to where people live and gather. Our goal is to reach as many corners of Chicago as possible, making live flamenco more accessible to our community and introducing it to new audiences.

TABLAO EN CASA

Bringing Flamenco to the Big Stage

Inspired by Spain's traditional tablaos, Tablao en Casa brings together Casa Triana students, professional musicians, and guest artists in carefully prepared productions presented in larger venues, allowing us to share flamenco with a wider audience.

With guest artists often joining us for a single performance, our goal is to bring as many people together as possible for that experience. These productions also give our students the opportunity to perform alongside experienced artists and share the stage with professional flamenco musicians.

NOCHEBUENA FLAMENCA

Celebrating Tradition and Community

Inspired by the traditional zambombas of southern Spain, Nochebuena Flamenca brings together professional artists, students, and community members to celebrate the holiday season through flamenco music, dance, and traditional songs.

Rooted in Andalusian traditions, this annual production celebrates cultural heritage, connects generations, and creates opportunities for artists and families to come together and share flamenco's joy.
