FLAMENCO
COLLECTIVE
CASA TRIANA
Artistic Development • Collaboration • Performance
A year-long artistic development and performance program for intermediate and advanced flamenco dancers who want to deepen their understanding of how a flamenco baile is created, structured, and brought to the stage.
Beginning October 2026
One Friday per month, 7:00 to 9:00 PM
Intermediate & Advanced. No audition required
Must be enrolled in at least one Casa Triana semester class
WHAT IS THE COLLECTIVE?
The Casa Triana Flamenco Collective provides dancers with the tools, guidance, and dedicated space to strengthen the material they already have and begin shaping it into a baile of their own.
Through monthly two-hour Collective Sessions, we will explore how the different elements of flamenco come together so you can make informed artistic choices, develop greater independence, and gain confidence bringing your baile from the studio to the stage.
Build Your Own Baile
Learn structure, compás, and musicality
Learn to work with cante and live music
WHO CAN JOIN?
Active participation is designed for dancers at an Intermediate level or above with a solid foundation in flamenco technique, compás, choreography, and basic flamenco terminology.
There is no audition required.
Dancers who are not yet at the Intermediate level may request to attend as observers. Observer space will be limited to one or two dancers per session.
WHO IS THE COLLECTIVE A GOOD FIT FOR?
This program is for dancers who are ready to commit to independent work between sessions because they love flamenco and want to create their own baile.
You will spend time on your own reviewing material, exploring ideas, and developing your baile in addition to your regular classes.
A baile cannot be created in only two hours a month. Your dedication between sessions is what makes the difference.
COMMITMENT & EXPECTATIONS
The Collective begins in October 2026 and is a year-long commitment.
One Friday per month for a full year, plus independent work and, when needed, additional rehearsals for performances.
