Youth Flamenco Collective

An Educational Program by Casa Triana Flamenco

Youth Flamenco Collective is an educational program by Casa Triana Flamenco designed to bring the art of flamenco into schools. Through interactive workshops, residencies, and live performances, students experience flamenco's rhythm, dance, percussion, and cultural heritage.

What to Expect

In-Classroom Flamenco Presentations

We begin by visiting your classroom to introduce students to the world of flamenco. These hands-on and culturally rich sessions teach students basic movements, clapping patterns, and flamenco rhythms while they discover the history and traditions behind the art form.

A woman dressed in a colorful, polka-dotted dress sitting on a wooden chair, performing or speaking to a group of children seated on the floor and on chairs in a classroom or community room, with large windows and various decorations in the background.

Flamenco Residencies

For schools ready to dive deeper, we offer short- or long-term residencies. Students build skills each week, learning choreography, musicality, and expressive movement. Residencies are tailored to the school’s goals and age group, and no prior dance experience is needed.

A woman instructs young girls dressed in matching red and black skirts, during a dance or performance rehearsal inside a room with windows and indoor plants.

Flamenco Student Showcase

The journey concludes with a performance opportunity where students take the stage to share what they’ve learned. These showcases bring the school community together and give students a moment to shine with confidence, pride, and artistic joy.
